Netflix Exhibition Concept

Assignment:

Make a Netflix Exhibition in Parco Portello in Milan Italy

My Concept:

I wanted to make an interactive and analogue installation where people have to interact with the booth. Taking people back in time. The installation allows people to walk into these old movie tapes and experience a short single image movie by spinning an image behind a striped grid, creating an optical illusion that it moves.

Everything has become so digital and people forget the basic way of how movies started,. Images with motion.

Because it is a pop-up installation I wanted it to be independent and not require any electricity. Making the installation flexible to install everywhere
